This policy covers the small, private publishing tool used to manage the YouTube channels Mortal Threshold, German Storyroom, Wortkulisse and ZYKLUS — Nothing Was Lost, and the related TikTok account @mortalthreshold. The tool is operated by Tim Mecklenburg for his own channels only. It is not offered to the public, and no other person can sign in to it.
The tool helps publish videos the operator made himself: it sets titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, subtitles, publishing times and playlists, and reads basic statistics of the operator's own channels.
The tool uses YouTube API Services. By using these channels' content you are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Access tokens are stored locally on the operator's own computer and are never shared. Statistics are stored locally for the operator's own analysis. No data is sold, transferred or shared with third parties, and no data is used for advertising.
Access granted to the tool can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, and for TikTok in the TikTok app under Settings → Security → Manage app permissions. After revocation, locally stored tokens no longer work and are deleted by the operator.
Locally stored statistics are kept only as long as they are needed for the operator's own analysis and are then deleted.
